AN AMAZING FATHER

Maxwell's buddy, Evan, is one blessed little man! Not only does he have a wonderful, loving, proactive mommy (we love you Sarah!), but his daddy is also incredible! They have worked out a very unique situation and it is working quite well. While she works outside the home, he has given up his career to be Evan's full time caregiver/nurse/therapist.

What a team...what a family! We love all three of you and are so proud of the progress Evan is making with the support of such a dedicated team. :)

Here is Sarah's latest entry on Jeremy, Evan's daddy. Isn't that great?

Kudos to you, Jeremy-- and your entire family! Amy, thanks for sharing this. It's nice to hear that there are still some GREAT dads out there.

Evan and Jeremy's arrangement sounds much like mine and Arlin's. I work full-time while Arlin works a few hours a week and is Katie's primary caretaker. I'm amazed at what a great dad he is. He changes diapers, feeds meals, gives baths, takes her to school and appointments, and works on her therapies with her. He's been present at every appointment, therapy, and surgery she's ever had. Through it all, he's remained patient and positive and never given up hope. Katie is blessed to have such a great daddy--and me such a great husband!

I totally agree with you Amy and we need to send his name is for father of the year!! He is such an awsome father, not that there are no other ones but I know alot who will not even go to a doctors appointment with them, my husband loves Eva to death but he could never be fultime care giver since I know he would lose it and not be able to handle for more then a day.
Hugs!!
